THE
CHINESE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD SCHOLARSHIP
Founded in 1997, the Chinese American Association of North
Hempstead is a non-profit organization with the mission
to increase cultural awareness in the community. This year,
CAANH will be offering two scholarships for eligible high
school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence,
integrity, character, and service to the community. Two
recipients will be selected by the school committee and
awarded a $250-500 scholarship each.

Criteria for entrants
:
- High School Senior
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Chinese
culture.
- Excellent Academic Achievement
- School/ Community Service
- Outstanding character and citizenship
- Essay (250 words): Explain why you are qualified for
this scholarship and to be submitted by the 4/30/2012
